Golden Loyalty and Bravery Medal, 2nd (definitive) Type in GOLD; Silver Loyalty and Bravery Medal, 2nd (definitive) Type in silver; both engraved on the reverse “Ferdinand, Prince of Bulgaria” and the year “1895” (in Arabic writing), with their original, chiselled suspension bars, then mounted together, narrow pin on the reverse, in red velvet, fitted case. Extremely fine condition (see Edhem Eldem: “Pride and Privilege–A History of Ottoman Orders, Medals and Decorations”, Istanbul, Ottoman Bank Archives, 2004, pages 296–297).
