Edgar James was an Orderly serving with the second British Red Cross Society unit sent to Montenegro during the First Balkan War. A unit typically consisted of three medical officers, three dressers (medical students), six nursing orderlies; five general duty orderlies, and one cook. The first B.R.C.S. Unit was sent to Montenegro on 19 October 1912; the second including James was despatched in December 1912. With some copied research. War Commemorative Medal 1914-18 and Montenegrin Medal for Zeal not confirmed.
